The sculpture of the Southern Bluefin Tuna was constructed of an assortment of kitchen cutlery, welded together around a wire frame, and presented on a bed of aquatic rock. While researching this project, I became aware of the peril of this particular species, which was intriguing to me. The use of cutlery represents the over-consumption of these fish, as well as the reason behind the peril in which they find themselves.
